From Introduction Of Regenerative Medicine To Follow-up Operational Support
Since our start-up in 2004, CellBank has made support for regenerative medicine one of our core businesses and has supported regenerative medicine from introduction through to stable operation. Since the Act on Securing Safety of Regenerative Medicine came into effect, practicing regenerative medicine has meant the need to apply to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and to design certain structures and facilities within medical institutions. At CellBank we support the introduction of treatments at your medical institution, in partnership with other companies.
Operational Support
From Inspections to Proper Tissue Sample Handling
We provide guidance on designing the necessary internal structures and facilities when your institution actually commences treatments. And when it comes to applications to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, we provide introductions and lend a hand with the entry for Certified Special Committees For Regenerative Medicine. If needed, we can also provide consultations on patient acquisition.
Medical Tourism
Medical tourism in Japan is worth almost 550 billion yen, with nearly 430,000 foreign patients seeking treatments. Many patients are now coming to Japan for advanced regenerative treatments, and patients from China are expected to be a big part of the growing international market for regenerative medicine in the coming years.
We’re working with our partners to bring regenerative treatments to foreign residents and traveling patients as part of our goal to make regenerative medicine more accessible.
Follow-Up Services
Our Support Center is ready to answer questions from institutions following the introduction of treatments, as well as providing advice and follow-up assistance.
